It's national broadcast so I don't believe it would be subject to blackout restrictions.
That being said, never bet against the Flames and NHL's ability to screw over their out of market fans.

Chaput, Megna, and Bachman are really the only ones that meet the criteria from what I can see. Gauce also if he plays. They must have an exception as we probably have seen young star teams with similar experience.

Bachmann doesn't meet it either. And Chaput and Megna really shouldn't; the only reason they weren't stuck in the AHL last year is because Vancouver was terrible. This is an AHL team plus Brock Boeser.

In pre-season I would prefer to watch this line-up over the veteran heavy line-up they had against the Oilers.

I can imagine that the two games after this one, against the Coyotes and the Jets will continue to be a try out. The two last games of the pre-season will be probably the Flames dress rehearsals, because the AHL camp will be underway by then.
