Chelsea announce that they have agreed a fee with Atletico for Diego Costa, believed to be around £53m.
Not bad for someone who's been frozen out and whose personality is, well, ... that of Diego Costa.

so how long does Bilic have left? I mean, today's loss was to be expected, but I feel West Ham have been disappointing for about a year now.

I really don't know that it's his fault though. They have no one, really. Their "big signings" are all either past their best before date or just built up into more than they are. Like Chicharito...anyone could have signed him and there was no interest, yet they sign him and figure he can resurrect their offence. It's really a mess there.
And that stadium is a joke. The inside/outside green carpet covering the track is comical. Even the announcers can't see things because they're so far away. It's the kind of thing you would see in the Canadian Premier League (if it gets going) and we accept it because it's an afterthought. But in England? What are they doing?
Anyway...Spurs cruise along and looked pretty solid doing it.

Fugly, but I'll take it. Listened to it but sounds as if Southampton would have been good value for a point.
Jones sounded like he was having a good one.

Powerplay Quarterback
LAZY is the only word to describe that non-performance. Midfield was brutal and offensively they just showed no effort at all. Couldn't reclaim a ball all game and left it all up to the defence. Easily the worst game Manchester United has played this season / heck they were better in preseason games.

Koeman dodged a P45 today. He's on thin ice also.

well that was ugly. No idea why Mourinho was sent off in the end, probably for making those stupid changes.

Meh... as long as I don't have to live through a manager with a white board and magnetic buttons again.

I believe in the Jays.
What a crap goal for Leicester. Vardy with a huge dive, Okazaki fouls Mignolet and then taps in from an offside position. Great reffing.

well Leicester-Liverpool is certainly entertaining. Defending is overrated.

A nervy 3 points there. So terrible at the back.
Reffing was brutal though, Leicester's first never should have counted and their missed penalty was a terrible call too.

As long as they take 3 points and emerge more or less unscathed....
This season promises to be a hell of a ride. I hope Klopp has some CBs targeted for the January window.
We cannot keep playing this 'Russian Roulette' Defence.

Bilic played Chicharito as a left winger today
He's a poacher period, he does basically nothing but finish
Their signings were big names but horrible fits, they downgraded in goal with a big name, Arnautovic has a worldie once every 2 months and the rest of the time isn't noticed
They need a new coach, they need new ownership and a better backroom but at least a coach or they might be in trouble

January buys, especially at CB, especially in a world cup year, is going to be a struggle to find anything
