Few hours ago now, but Bucs LB Devin White signs with Eagles. Happy to see him out of the division.
Eagles making a splash in early UFA here, looking to shore up that suddenly leaky D and get back to where they were.

I am sad about the Chargers trading Allen, but long term its likely for the best and gives them cap space. Also pretty much guarantees that they are taking a WR at the #5 spot.

They have to. That current WR room isn’t division II worthy let alone NFL. Need some free agent deals for sure

1 year show me deal, so not a lot of risk for K.C. so I like the move.

Everyone has the Chargers pegged to draft OL in the first round but I wonder if they are now considering one of the top WR's.

With the first four picks of the draft locked in the Chargers control the draft. And given its a deep WR draft, that there are a few QB desperate teams in the teens who will want McCarthy, and that the Chargers have multiple roster deficiencies, I'll be surprised if they don't trade back.

Speaking of the Vikings moving up for McCarthy, looking like a given now.

Man I like the idea of drafting McCarthy because of his age and physical traits but I don't know about top 10. He never had to sling the ball around for Michigan and you just never know if he will be able to be that guy at any level. Penix by most accounts was by far the best looking of the QB's to throw at the combine (and best at Senior Bowl) and I think he has a chance to be the better than at least one or two of Williams, May, and Daniels. The only question will be how his knees will hold up.

Lots of smoke around JH wanting to trade back for a big haul and rebuild the team through the next 2 drafts.
Going to be a rough couple of years for Herbert

Any time JJ has been asked to sling it Michigan hasn’t looked great. His hype train is off the rails out of control, he might be good with the right coaching but this meteoric rise is wild.
Penix is 45 years old and ass. He can’t handle any kind of pressure and is made of wet toilet paper. I wouldn’t want anything to do with him at the pro level, same with Bo Nix. In a non insane world Maye and Williams are top 5, maybe Daniels is a first round guy, JJ is a 2nd, and these other bums are 3rd and later.

I am FAR from a Russell Wilson fan. Far from it. But I'm glad this particular chapter is over now ... it was a terrible draft pick the moment it was made and he never looked like a competent starter in this league. Writing was on the wall when they prefered to go with Mason Rudolph over him at the end of the season and in the playoffs ... the only surprising thing here is the Steelers actually being ruthless enough to make these decisions, but luckily, Omar Khan is not afraid of making the moves that Kevin Colbert would have never dared to make.
