My take is that if they have a plan B, they won't reveal it because it would just give the AHL governors a choice, and they'd just take what would be most convenient for them.

If they want something that will appeal to Canucks fans while using Flames colours, and an "A" for Abbotsford...

Abby is like.... a 45 minute to an hour drive outside of Vancouver. How many fans do you think are gonna latch onto those, and go see the team that is flaunting it's association to our chief rival?

Well, I was pretty sure it wouldn't stand for "Flames".
So why would they use the old flaming "A" that Atlanta used if the team won't be called the Flames?

I don't care about those fans, if they wana watch the Flames than support them with whatever colors they wear. These are future Flames, I don't want them to disgrace themselves or the CALGARY FLAMES by wearing those hideous canucks color schemes.

It's not going to happen since the team is not going to be the Abbotsford Flames.
They are going try to distance themselves as much from the Flames brand and image as possible because they need to attract Canucks fans.
It's going to be more like the Vancouver Canucks/Manitoba Moose where the AHL franchise is independant and not really connected in name.

I doubt Ken King cares what you want. He wants a stable farm team that doesn't move every season. I bet he's willing to sell out the jersey's for it.
Abbotsford will play to watch high calibre hockey. They won't pay to watch high calibre hockey when they're reminded every night that this is the future enemy.

2 AHL teams in the lower mainland..sweet...one can't help but think is this just setting up a swap of farm team cities between the canucks and flames in the future? Makes more sense to have the baby Flames in the 'peg and the canucks farm team in the Fraser Valley
