wranglers [GDT] Flames vs Icehogs - Thursday October 16 @ 5pm EST
Adirondack Flames (0-2-0-0) vs Rockford Ice Hogs (Chicago Blackhawks) (0-1-0-0)


Notes:
  • Abbotsford went 4-0 against Rockford last season outscoring the IceHogs 19-11 in the 4 game series
  • Adirondack and Rockford will meet 4 times this season. The next 3 games will be in March.

Roster Notes:
  • DEL - Josh Jooris (F) as he was called up by the Calgary Flames this morning
  • DEL - Trevor Gillies (F) will serve the first of his 12 game suspension starting tonight. He will be eligible to return on Nov 12
  • DEL - Doug Carr (G) has been assigned to Colorado Eagles (ECHL)
  • ADD - David Wolf (F) may return to the lineup after sitting out the first 2 games with a suspected concussion
  • STARTER - Brad Theissen (G) was first goalie off the ice in practice and presumably has the start tonight

Standings:
  • Adirondack is ranked 28/30 in the AHL (Rockford and WB-Scranton are the only lower ranked teams)
  • Adirondack is ranked 1st in the AHL in PIM; Rockford is ranked 2nd in the AHL in PIM
  • PP is 19th in the AHL at 10% (1/10)
  • PK is 28th in the AHL at 66.7% (6/9)


Injuries:
  • Emile Poirier (Shoulder) - Unknown
  • David Wolf (Concussion) - Questionable
  • Corey Potter (Shoulder) - 2-3 weeks

Not at this time. With the Jooris call up and possibly Wolf coming back, I'm guessing there will be a few last minute changes.

I believe he's skating, but not in anything with contact and still wearing the "Don't hit me" jersey. He had an appointment at the end of the September with the surgeon but haven't seen anything saying if he got a clearance or not.

The conditioning coach for Addy apparently had him running stairs til he puked the other day.
