Anyone else try and watch Infinity War on Netflix? Was going to but the playback caps out at 960 x 540 for me. Other stuff streams in 1920 x 1080 so I don't think it's a bandwidth issue (other stuff hits 200+kbps, while Infinity War caps out at less than half.

Anyone else see that?

Russian Doll is the best original Netflix show since Stranger Things.

Finally got around to watching Season 2 of Friends from College. I enjoyed it more than S1. Multiple laugh out loud moments that I had to binge it.

I honestly didn't mind ten titans. It was cheesy but about as enjoyable as any other DC TV series

Umbrella Academy is a lot of fun. Excellent effects, fun characters and good story. Looking forward to season 2.

Probably not the right place, but there's a very good scam email going around that tells you that there is something wrong with your payment method and you're subscription is being cancelled.


Make sure that you take a close look at the email address on the email, it might be masked to look legit. But this is a very realistic looking email that might fool someone that's not paying attention.

Looks like old man Steven Spielberg wants to restrict streaming services from submitting films for Oscar consideration.

I wonder how his non-union Mexican equivalent Senor Spielbergo feels.

It does build, as most good shows do. I think you have to invest the time to get to know and care about the characters and their situation to really love any of the great shows, so the most you could hope for is seeing promise after just one episode. I'd consider this one quite good, but it's not great.

I feel for you on how people seem to love some media that is hard to get behind. That's me with super hero movies and shows. I think they're the same boring story over and over and are the worst thing ever. It's mind boggling to me how they can keep going to that well (origin story, joining the group, cheesy bad guy, unfunny one liners, etc.). If you like comic book hero stuff, this is the golden age. If you don't, basically 65% of movies are unappealing.

I watched the curling episode last night. Considering how obscure of a subject that is for a Netflix audience I thought they did a pretty good job of it. I'll be watching the other episodes soon. I'm especially keen on the Jean Van de Velde one since I remember watching that collapse and being shocked by it.

I don’t get that opinion. Streamed movies are legit and should be eligible.

There’s no problem with my subscription until I can’t use it on my TV.
