That inning could have been over twice, Garcia made a bad throw to 2nd to negate Gurriel's ability to turn the double play, then Pillar and Granderson get mixed up on a very catchable ball, 2 runs score, which I imagine will be changed to an error on Pillar.

What is going on with the starting pitching?
The average ERA for the bullpen is well under 2.5. That's awesome!
The average ERA for the Starters is well over 5. That's barf!
Sanchez and Happ are pitching ok. Garcia I think has had a bit of bad luck and was spotted as the #5 guy. But Estrada and Stroman have been brutal.
It's still early so not time to panic yet but if the Jay's want a chance at the post season those 2 guys for sure are going to have to be a lot better.

This game feels like pretty much each of the other games this weekend. Starter lets players get on base every inning. Only saving grace is that Perez is garbage and they should score more on him.

Clearly the ace of this staff. Begs the question, should the Jays look to extend him? He's 35 years old, but I certainly would if he'd accept 2 years $30 million total. Maybe put a club option on the 2nd year?

Is it crazy to think they should be bring this guy up to the big leagues? I get they don't want to ruin by bringing him up too soon, but they seem to keep guys in the minor leagues so long in baseball.
