Merlin: This is it, Maverick! Maverick: I'm gonna hit the brakes, he'll fly right by. Merlin: ####! He's gonna get a lock on us! Maverick: [the MiG eventually gets a lock onto Maverick] NOW!
[Maverick slams the breaks and the MiG passes by, then Maverick locks onto the MiG] Maverick: Got a good lock, firing.

Tristan Harris from The Social Dilemma on Joe Rogan's podcast. A really great deep dive into social media and its effects on so many things. Guests like this are why I still watch his podcasts.

When does the deep dive dive start? I got 45 minutes into Rogan just talking about totally random #### that the guest didn't even seem interested in and had little to do with his expertise before giving up.
Edit: sorry, nevermind. I clicked into YouTube to watch and somehow ended up on Rogan speaking to another guy, which was a terrible interview.

Yeah, there's a lot of his podcasts which are like that. I'm impressed you lasted 45 min!
I get the heebie jeebies when I see this stuff yet it fascinates me.
Just the transfer of weight for the climber to do this and then return to a climbing position is crazy.
I watched the documentary Free Solo and my couch has a permanent sphincter pinch. Totally amazing yet terrifying.
