I don't know if it would change much if the proposal is to use capfriendly as the single source, as it tends to be the most complete in terms of showing positions.
So does that more restrictive rule actually drive the intended outcome?
If we want position restriction to drive more trade activity the bluntest approach would be to assign one position per player. But that reduces flexibility in managing line-ups.

And I fear that it could in fact reduce trade activity. Right now I largely acquire forwards knowing I have enough flexibility to move things around. So when I'm looking for an upgrade to my forward group, there's a wide pool to draw from. If I was having to seek only RWers than that pool shrinks.

I think what we have now is a good and balanced approach. I'm open to other views on it though.

I had no idea this was a thing and have only been responding to DM's the last week or so rather than checking this board, as I thought the rest of the offseason would be relatively quiet minus trade talks. Obviously a rookie mistake.

I will also be without access to a laptop until Tuesday as I will be camping at Lake Koocanusa.
