They need to stop the losing skid and get their first win on a Sunday afternoon in Southern Ontario this season.
Today's game is on Leafs-TV if anyone has that.
Go Heat!

Agreed. Afternoon games have been the Heat's achilles for sure. To pile it on, the Marlies have been ridiculously good lately.
Also, thanks for the heads up about Leafs-TV. I'll add that to the OP.

For anyone in the States the game is on ESPN America. They are also showing the Dec. 16 and 17th games against Texas. Well it looks like it's tape delayed from the previous night but still it's far better coverage than we're getting here in Canada. How hard would it be for RSN to pick up these games since they are already being broadcast? Pretty shoddy in my book.

Brust is starting today.
EDIT - Walter is back! He'll be lined up with Horak and Reinhart (according to Pinder).

Teddy Bear Toss day in Toronto...Play Grinch today, Brust, and keep the kids from getting their Christmas toys.

I've always wondered what happens if the home team gets shutout?

I think they do it at the 10 minute break in the third period if the home team hasn't scored yet.

The score is 0-0 after the first period. Pinder will be interviewing Ferland coming up.

I wouldn't be worried about that thymebalm. I'm pretty sure his crappy start was just a matter of being snakebitten.
He's pretty well regarded as a surefire NHLer of some capacity. It's not just Flames management that think that either. Scouts and several media members believe it as well.

I know, but you can only hear the rhetoric so many times without seeing it in the statline.
