I know I'm missing something. Help me out!
The closest I can find is in the rules, table 16 situation 1C.

Quote:
1. THE GOALKEEPER IS IN THE GOAL CREASE.

C. An attacking player makes incidental contact with the goalkeeper at the same time a goal is scored.

Goal is disallowed. The official in his judgment may call a minor penalty on the attacking player. The announcement should be, “No goal due to interference with the goalkeeper.”
Only thing questionable is at the same time, can be interpreted as the whole sequence there. In that case, no goal is a good call.

No wonder even players don’t get goaltender interference calls.

Goals get called back for incidental contact all the time. Reason being it still prevents the goalie from having a fair chance to make a save.

I was watching in a bar with the sound off...second we saw it I called no goal

Right call, you can't allow that...players would be cutting out from behind the net on every play to try and get a piece of the tenders stick and spin him around

Its text book IMO

So, basically how Ryan Smyth spent his entire career?

I mean, if you're going to suspend a guy, at least be honest about what happened.
Bellemare, all 6'0 200 pounds of him, who finished this season with 14 PIMs and 0 major penalties - fighting or other - in 72 games, who has 5 fights in 300+ career games, and who averages 21 PIMs/82 games is an enforcer? What an odd take.

Yeah, wrong word - grinder, energy guy, depth guy, what have you... the point is that he's going to step in before Nate Schmidt, and that he's going to try to take Joe Pavelski, who is a top-end offensive player, off the ice with him because that's just a good trade for the Knights.

As for the disallowed goal, for me, he was clearly interfered with and the argument is whether he had enough time to recover. It was a continuous play, so I can understand why they called it like that. It looked like Jones at least made a half-hearted effort to get back to get the puck (which, it's not like you're giving up on a play in OT).

I've said it before but I will say it again; the Sharks are so annoying.

Huh. I find that they don't have a lot of guys to hate actually. I like Burns and big Joe, along with Pavelski and I enjoy the fact that they still got Jones despite LA trying their best to keep him out east. Anaheim has guys like Kesler and Bieksa so its much easier to hate.

Yeah, Sharks are largely irrelevant all things considered.

Yea, I don't hate the Sharks either, unless of course we're facing them in the playoffs. Also the Flames have generally played well against them over the years, so I've always been somewhat indifferent to them as far as rivalries go. There's nowhere near the same level of hate for the Sharks as there is for Anaheim, Edmonton, or Vancouver.

First time I've ever seen Burke with a tie done up. I'm with Elliot, I can't take him seriously.

Can't believe the Sharks didn't score there. How the hell did that stay out?

McNab made a remarkable block with his skate in the crease.
