No AHL farm team for a season until the arena in Palm Springs is completed, which means Henman will be loaned out.

Maybe the Heat will have a Henman/Heineman to add to the Philp/Phillips pairing?

About as obscure as Vegas' first player, a guy named Reid Duke.

As an aside, I like the SeaKraken hashtag, which doubles up as pretty nice nickname. Sea Captain, Seattle Kraken, Sea Kraken. Works quite well on different levels.

Where do they expect Henman to play next year? It looks as though they won't have an AHL affiliation until 2022/ 2023 season. Loaning him out to another organization or independent team is not going to be very good for his development.

Before Vegas got its own AHL team in Henderson, it partnered with the St. Louis Blues to jointly develop prospects with the Chicago Wolves.

Could see a similar dual affiliation happening with Seattle and some other team.

Duke is a Calgary kid, so I am sure he is less obscure in these parts.

Seattle will likely have only a handful of raw prospects in the AHL level. Whatever free agents they acquire as bubble/NHL callups should be close by.

Abbotsford maybe? Not well versed with the Canucks system, but that would be handy.

Henderson maybe? Might be a few slots there and still relatively close by. The Knights are still fleshing out their system and there's some synergies as a new franchise.

Henman sounds like the he's Seattle's version of Glenn Gawdin. A reclamation project that costs little and may fill a organization depth role.
