Ty Smith graduates from last year's list and joins Noah Dobson and Rasmus Sandin as Hurricanes young up and coming D.
Also, Arizona Coyotes have totally f'ed Barrett Hayton's player development so bad that Hayton is curled up in a ball somewhere right now crying himself to sleep every night

I'll stick with guys who would still be classified as rookies in the NHL:
1) Trevor Zegras
2) Zac Jones
3) Jakob Pelletier
4) Wyatt Kalynuk
5) Mike Hardman
6) Sampo Ranta
7) Egor Afanasyev
8) Drew O'Connor
9) Peter Diliberatore
10) Arvid Soderblom
It's a list of a few really high-end guys, then a pretty steep drop-off after that.
I had a lot of graduates this year which is great to see
Graduated: Ross Colton, Nico Sturm, Logan O'Connor, Kevin Lankinen

That's a good looking group Doug that will pay off in the years to come. McMichael was a steal.

Its funny, I think that my 22 to 24 group is a lot more interesting
Dylan Coghlan, Ben Glason, Connor MaKey Urho Vaalanainen, Noah Juulsen (though I think he's going to bust)

Not much here outside the first 3-4 guys. Heck, I had to just sign Hayes and McCartney to make it look like I had at least a couple prospects!
We are in win now mode, sold the farm to make our CPHL team better

I got real lucky with McMichael being that he was a former Bulldog I loved but was traded for Robert Thomas when Bulldogs made a run and won the OHL championship
But it really tells you about great organizations. The London Knights gave up the delusion that they were going to the Memorial Cup and move Thomas to hamilton for McMichael
The end result was that Knights put themselves into a situation to continue to build and add assets
The Hamilton Bulldogs, yes win an OHL Championship that year, but following totally messed up the organization. Thomas makes the Blues and doesn't come back for another season, Matthew Strome veto's a trade and walks, Jan Jeník gets injured and was unable to trade and recoup assets, Arthur Kaliyev likely makes the Kings or reports to the AHL team and the bulldogs get nothing in return. Then finally Jan Mysak "may" return to the Bulldogs but there's a chance that they recoup nothing for him as well
The OHL did a lotto for the Draft selection order this year and the Bulldogs draft 14th
The Bulldogs traded their future away for Thomas, in turn, got nothing back for Thomas, Strome, Kaliyev, Jeník and Mysak
I really find that the Calgary Flames are very much in the same situation with Johnny Gaudreau as the London Knights were with Robert Thomas
There's a good reason why organizations like the London Knights wins

I like how some teams have rules like 21 and under or 9 guys graduate. LA's 21 and under after taking out the 24 year old college prospects and KHL guys that may never come over :
- Kirill Marchenko
- Kale Addison
- Ryan Suzuki
- Akil Thomas
- Riley Damiani
- Samuel Fagemo
- Alex Alexeyev
- Theo Neiderbach
- Danil Gushkin
- Arseni Gritsyuk
There is no future in LA, but we do have naked movie stars everywhere.

Dallas can't even get to 10 "prospects" under 21 this season. A telling sign of the quality of management and the job that is being done, no doubt.
1. Joel Farabee
2. Matthew Boldy
3. Jack Quinn
4. Jordan Spence
5. William Wallinder
6. Justin Sourdif
7. Ethan Edwards
Graduates (I guess):
Jason Robertson
Matthew Kiersted
Connor Timmins
Stuart Skinner (but you have to squint really hard)

Figured it was time for a bump. Stuck to 21 and under.
1-Seth Jarvis
2-Kent Johnson
3-Brendan Brisson
4-Olen Zellweger
5-Brandt Clarke
6-Jacob Peterson
7-Xavier Bourgault
8-Simon Holmstrom
9-Helge Grans
10-Ilya Usov
Our prospect pool is slowly improving. We do have one graduate in Liljegren as he has found himself in the NHL. Overall still a work in progress.

Don't care about 21 and under.
1. Logan Stankoven
2. Jack McBain
3. Alex Laferriere
4. Sasha Chmelevski
5. Arseni Gritsyuk
6. Matvei Petrov
7. Lukas Svejkovsky
8. Rafael Harvey-Pinard
9. Parker Kelly
10. Viktor Lodin
HM — Arshdeep Bains, Mark Kastelic, Tyce Thompson, Joey Daccord, Conner Roulette, Pavel Novak, Taylor Ward
I actually really like our crop of prospects and think there'll be quite a few NHLers out of this group. Kelly is already really close to being considered a graduate, IMO.

If a player is on the roster of an NHL team, and not as a "get the nine games in" type of player, I called him graduated. Example is Scott Perunevich. I also didn't put in any goalies, although Wolf would definitely be in there somewhere.
I'll have to address the prospect base in LA after the UFA batches. It's pretty much all high risk/high reward prospects top to bottom. The only HM players would be the Kings prospects (NHL), that I didn't include because I want a good King to be on the team at some point, and I'm biased. They could probably interchange with the bottom of the list here.
