Its a brilliant name! They should have named their stadium that.

I was hoping for Chick King to buy the naming rights. They’re across the road and not only delicious, but they have the Spurs logo with a crown as their logo. It’s great!

I mean Lampard has to produce something meaningful and not a Caribou Cup this year or he's gone right? Roman has broken the bank and then some.

Oh its going to be interesting.

Completely rebuilding a team through the Transfer Window always works.

All these signings are great, but I think the key one to get for Chelsea is Rice. If you have Rice and Silva with Kante in front, you are in business. The offense was never much of a problem, and could be scary now. But if they can tighten up the back, especially with Rice being really good going forward too, then they can start to dream. I really don't like Zouma back there...

Van Dijk just headed a ball so hard that the Goalkeeper caught it and the velocity shoved him into the net with the ball.

Van Dijk follows that up with a howler. Leeds looking the better team so far.

Salah just about took the roof of the net off with that one.

"Liverpool are going to press you hard. Press back."

I dont know if Leeds can keep this up all season, but for today its great to watch.

Not to make too many bold proclamations in week 1, but I imagine the three relegated teams are gonna be Fulham, West Brom and West Ham.

All guesswork but hard to argue with those 3 being the favourites to go down right now. I could see Burnley or Sheff United being in the mix too - they're both clubs that have stayed up on confidence and team spirit more than quality and if either have some bad breaks and a poor run shaking that right off the hop I think they could end up in the mix too and get beat by west ham to safety.

Brightons the other club could have seen being in that group but feel they have done well this offseason on the cheap adding Lallana and Veltman for peanuts. Maupay is like the epl's marchant, less talented but still a dbag who will score a few.

Hammers for me after the last few years are the team that deserve to go down, compared to the others with all the transfer money they've blown like drunken sailors after getting gifted the free stadium, but Hallers got to eventually have a good run and save them with his pedigree, though it feels like mark noble has willed them to stay up the last couple years and he's getting old.

Dyche has worked wonders at burnley but their England cb looks unsettled by all the transfer talk and Sheff U losing their star keeper is gonna hurt. But fulham and the baggies have the poorest rosters in the prem on paper for sure.

I'd probably pick
Sheff United
Fulham
West Brom

Spurs vs Everton.

Can there be a Meteor strike? Earthquake that swallows up the stadium? At least no innocent bystanders would be hurt.

Spurs dont seem to be motivated by one of Mourinho's inspirational speeches about testicular fortitude.

I hate Mourinho ball. It just sucks all the joy out of being a fan. I can't even watch these games. So boring.

I hear you. Won't get any better I'm afraid, but at this rate he'll implode sooner than later. I give him until November.

I dont blame you.

I watched the last 15-20 minutes and Spurs were literally just standing around and passing the ball amongst themselves and Everton just let them.

It had all the intensity of pre-season training match.

It was very much like Spurs thought as long as they kept the ball Kane would produce some magic.

On Everton's goal neither of the CBs even left their feet to attack the ball. Calvert-Lewin was the only person who even jumped to attack it.

I imagine Chelsea will be happy if they can sell Kepa for £1, might still be overpriced though.
