Well at the time, with the information I had, it was correct. I'm just going off your roster on the site and any posts you've made previous to this.
Based on whatever contracts you sign and players you move, it's going to change.

If I had that kind of time, but I usually just throw this together on my lunch break.
I'll see if I can find something simple to make it prettier.

Btw....
On the team page it says we're $4.58 over the cap.
But I made some trades today.
Trade 1: Anaheim sends NYI $2 million this year in exchange for $3.5 million next
So now we're just $2.58 over.
Trade 2: NYI sends Montreal Nick Leddy ($3.25 million x 1) in exchange for Matt Benning ($1.25 million x 2) and pick 98
Now just $0.58 over.
Trade 3: NYI sends St Louis Calvin de Haan ($3.75 million x 2) in exchange for a 3rd, a 4th, and prospect Alec Regula.
So the New York Islanders are $3.17 million UNDER the cap!
Answer: YES

A little birdie said I should bump this thread because it's once again relevant to everyone's favorite CPHL team, the NY Islanders.
Islanders Current Salary Cap: $60.88 Million
Islanders Current Payroll: $84.7 Million
Islanders Players on waivers: $10.16 Million
Islanders Current Cap Space: -$13.66 Million
Answer: No
Also of note, once Scorps players clear waivers, he will have 39!!! players on his AHL team.
*Note* Yes I'm aware he has plenty of time to fix this, but it always amuses me how much of a hole he digs himself into every year and somehow pulls it off.

It gives me a ton of anxiety to look at the NYI cap situation every year. He seems to thrive on it so I have learned to just let go and let god.

usually it's looking at the list of conditions that make me hyperventilate, but it's actually not that bad this year.

My philosophy: better to start with a full deck and figure out which cards you're most comfortable with discarding.
Except I guess maybe I tend to throw a few extra cards into the deck, too. I suppose I like a challenge.
This thread never fails to make me chuckle.
