Not surprising an Oilers fan would be getting a kick out of this. Almost as if he is looking for validation like Oiler fans posting on a Flames message board,

Maybe he should transfer to the Edmonton Police Service?!?

That should be pretty expected backlash.

We're sports fans and until the Oilers are relocated to the Seventh Circle of Hell, which admittedly is still nicer than Edmonton, and the Calgary Flames are renamed to 'The Alberta Flames' then there is no 'Albertan' team.

I just went to my gym and there was an Oilers jersey hanging in the coat closet. It took everything I had not to chuck in into the showers.

I am no hero sir. Just an average citizen who looks out for the community and pays his taxes (After Locke does them of course).

Tell him he's an embarrassment to our police force and a poor representative of our city.

Seriously.

I'm actually stunned they are allowed to put flags on marked cars Flames or Oilers. Not very professional IMO.

They aren't. But the police representative who commented took it in stride and said it was just an officer showing support for an Alberta team. Which is the right answer imo.

It's a kinda lame troll job but not something that warrants too much serious scrutiny.

Didn't someone did it in 2015 when the Flames made the playoff?

NVM, found it.

If I could find a video of it online I'd post the news segment from 2004 when a Calgary news station had someone (possibly a tourism Calgary rep?) showing a Tampa person (possibly a Tampa tv station sports guy?) around Calgary.

They parked their car with a Tampa car flag on it to show them around downtown and when they came back, the flag was gone. The whole thing, holder and flag. Without missing a beat the Calgary lady made sure to mention how Canadian of the thief it was to steal the flag but not damage the rental car.

I'm not a doctor, but I'm 100% sure that's photoshopped. The window is down and yet that flag holder is magically hovering in place.

Don't know, saw it here I think back in 2015. If it's shopped, not by me anyway.
