Dodgers are one of the biggest WS favorites in recent memory. A bunch of teams with projected win totals between 85 and 93 so hopefully an interesting year.

You gotta applaud the consistency of the two Brewers pitchers so far today

Devers is 0 for 16 with 12 Ks to start the year after the Red Sox signed Bregman for 3rd and told Devers he was going to be the DH, which he did not like apparently.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if he turned into a bust on year 1 of his 10 year, $300MM+ extension...

If he isn't careful he might tank his value enough to end up on the Dodgers in exchange for a sack of potatoes.

What's the deal with the torpedo bat? You can just customize bats for dudes that get jammed up and it's completely legal and nobody has ever tried doing it before? Bats didn’t have to be bat shaped but MLB is so uncreative it took years to consider a change?

https://www.cnn.com/2025/03/31/sport...spt/index.html

Think this is the best article I've found about it.

And really all it's doing is shaping the "sweet spot" of the bat to be customized to where the player makes the most frequent contact in their swing.

Seems pretty straight forward and shocking that nobody had figured out this was a good idea until now.

They said it’s been used for years .

Schnieder was using them last year on the Jays

Seems the Yankees have just convinced their players of the benefits and got them use to them in the offseason.

Three more strikeouts for Devers today, still o-fer the season. 300 strikeout season incoming?

Dodgers will pick him up for pennies on the dollar. When Boston goes back home he will get boos and knowing Sox fans, other inappropriate comments and he'll be gone before Easter.

Yeah. The Dodgers already have one former Red Sox star who didn't want to put up with racist comments from Boston fans, might as well add another one.

Apparently Devers hurt his shoulder last July diving for a ball and his numbers drop off a cliff since.

Atlanta Braves outfielder Jurickson Profar has been suspended for 80 games without pay for performance-enhancing drug use.
Major League Baseball announced Monday that Profar tested positive for Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) in violation of the league’s joint drug prevention and treatment program. According to the Cleveland Clinic, hCG is a hormone that helps in the production of testosterone.
