What the hell is Suitor talking about, how can Fajardo just have seen the defensive pass interference when the ball is already three quarters of the way to the receiver?!? Just say he threw it up for grabs hoping to draw a flag because that's what happened.

Its amazing how often he blathers on about something while the video is playing and showing something entirely different. I just find it amusing any more cause it happens all the time.

To the tie break question. Saskatchewan holds the tie break over Winnipeg, although in reading the three way tie break rules I don’t know if it even matters. Basically the team with the highest overall winning percentage in games between the three tied teams gets the tie break. So it would go as such:
Calgary 3-2 (.600)
Winnipeg 3-3 (.500)
Sask. 2-3 (.400)
So Calgary takes first.

I'm confused, I could swear earlier in this thread he was being hailed as one of the best QB's in the league.

Nice time for Sean Whyte to break his FG streak.

Well darn. But I'm not afraid of either the riders or bombers so I'm not sure it really matters.

So a Calgary win/tie against BC guarantees at least hosting the West semi-final. Hopefully, they can come out of the gate strong and get a nice lead against the Lions in order to rest some regulars. In a perfect world, I would love to see Arbuckle play most of the 2nd half.

When was the last time the last game of the regular season was meaningful for the Stamps? I can’t even remember...

Here’s all of the scenarios.
Saskatchewan win = Saskatchewan finishes in first place and hosts Western Final.
Calgary win + Saskatchewan loss = Calgary finishes in first place and hosts Western Final. Saskatchewan will host Winnipeg in Western Semi-Final.
Calgary loss = Winnipeg will finish in second place and host Calgary in the Western Semi-Final
Saskatchewan win AND Calgary win = Saskatchewan finishes in first place and hosts Western Final. Calgary will host Winnipeg in Western Semi-Final.
Calgary loss AND Saskatchewan loss = Saskatchewan finishes in first place and hosts Western Final. Calgary will host Winnipeg in Western Semi-Final.

I think scenario 1 is most likely; Calgary hosts Winnipeg, Riders play the winner

So viewers in Sask get this game and miss the figure skating and Raptors. But if you’re in Edmonton you’re stuck watching figure skating.
I can’t imagine it’s an issue for most people though, except in some rural areas. Pretty much everyone has access to the bigger cable packages nowadays.
|
Not sure if I agree. Most people I know want to pay as little as possible for cable tv. No way I’m paying for 5 channels of TSN. Whoever at TSN thinks Alberta would rather watch figure skating over a clash between the Eskimos and riders? That game not being on the primary channel in Alberta is just wrong

God. My sasky relatives are insufferable right now. Congrats Riders if you do finish first. For Stamps fans, it's been a looong 12 years of being the most dominant team in the CFL.
