No discipline for Barbashev hit , or the Blais hit a couple games back. While neither are key players, the blues got a couple breaks there from the NHL. Nowhere near the level of calls the sharks lucked out on, maybe an attempt to even things out?

The Blais hit should have had him suspended. The Barbashev one I would say no, it looked as if Barbashev was trying to avoid contact but couldn't.

Don't think it is by any means trying to even things out. Even if they were trying to do that, a couple of suspensions on bottom 6 players is not even remotely close to evening out the playing field of an OT goal. That costed the Blues a game. If that call isn't made and the Blues score the OT winner in game 3, they are already onto the Stanley Cup Finals.

Nope. SJ managed to eek out a referee-assisted OT victory in StL, I am not convinced they can win another one.

I'm going to agree with Textcritic on the basis of going nostalgic. The Blues will probably be losing by 3 goals in the 3rd period and then have a Tuesday night miracle happen, just like they did 33 years ago with the Monday night miracle against the Flames.

I hope not. It would be quite satisfying if the Sharks look as gassed as they did last game, with undisciplined Kane and gimpy Karlsson continuing to cost the team

Speaking of Kane it can't be comforting for management to see $7 million annually buys you only 2 goals in 19 playoff games. You would think Kane would be the type of player that would excel in the playoffs but he's been very pedestrian.

I'm not defending Kane as a person, but I think this year as a whole personally has been so stressful it has affected his game.

He had the alleged sexual harassment things (i think that was this year) and of course the loss of his unborn child not too long ago.

Don’t even see a stall set up for Karlsson or Hertl in #SJSharks room. Pavelski has one but did not take part in morning skate.

I want St. Louis to win the cup, so I hope they wrap this series up tonight in an uneventful, calm manner.

I hate the Sharks.

Not counting the sha-arks out just yet. Seen them come back too many times this season.
After seeing the replay it does appear that Pietrangelo got away with a sneaky elbow to Pavelski's jaw after the initial hit. Not cool.

I expect the Sharks to gut this one out and force game 7 with a push from Couture, Kane, Thornton and Burns. Everyone in the room knows this is the last stand for Jumbo Joe.

All the horseshoes may have fallen out of the Shark's ass, hope they get bounced tonight and we won't have to see or hear about them anymore.
