This is one of those classic lack of urgency 4 minute power plays

Cole just saved a goal. Normally he also sucks, just like Johnson.

Watching this game just reminds me how bad the Flames were in the 1st round.
These are good teams, they're not unstoppable.

It's weird how much that first series made me hate the Avs all of a sudden. I find myself now cheering for the Sharks to beat the crap out of the Avs.

Agree with you to a point. Hard to tell who the best team will be in a series/ playoffs.
However, the best players usually make the difference.
Flames best players cost them the series vs Avs.

No. The Sharks are evil. I’m not one to believe in conspiracies but am pretty sure they are responsible for the death of The Simpsons.

Also, it’s difficult to get a great read on how two teams stack up after only two periods. By the end of Period Two in Game One I was feeling pretty good about how the Flames were playing.

Not sure that anything I posted gave you anything to lend credence that I disagree with your response.

Maybe it's because I find Landeskog to be a dirty pos, so hence my hate for the Avs. I want to see these guys embarrassed in the second round.

@SanJoseSharks
What do you know, you *can* kill off four straight minutes of power play time!

From SJ radio broadcast
"Avs are starting to realize is NOT at all like playing the Flames. The Sharks have some heavy forwards and they are punishing the Avs and negating their team speed."

Amazing that Joe Thornton has been the best player on the ice.
