So- do we think Sadiq is dead? Or did they pull a “Glen under the dumpster” on us again?
Spoiler tag for people who don't like watching sneak peeks:
Spoiler!
On The Talking Dead they showed a preview for next week and it shows Rosita coming to see him but Dante tries to tell her he isn't there. It then shows Sadiq open his eyes and they're all white before ending the clip. He's dead.
Okay, #### it. Preacher going ape#### has renewed my interest somewhat.
What this show has been lacking over the last couple of seasons are those good old fashioned "holy s**t" moments that we saw a lot of in the first few seasons. Gabriel going nuts was definitely one of those moments. It was jarring and unexpected, which makes for good television.
Despite a couple of so-so episodes this year (mostly the ones without Negan), the show appears to be getting back on track to what made it so compelling in the first place. Hopefully the 2nd half of the season will continue to build on that.
Only thing that bugged me about tonight's episode:
Spoiler!
Carol getting suckered into the most obvious of traps by Alpha was lame and completely betrays the character. I get that she's overcome by blood lust and her desire to kill Alpha, but the Carol we've come to know over the last several seasons is way too smart to fall for that crap. Such a dumb moment.

I thought it was one of the tamest mid-season finales ever until the ending. Thank goodness they didn’t drag out the Dante/spy line. As for Carol not thinking straight, she hasn’t been since Henry’s death.
Location: Close enough to make a beer run during a TV timeout
Exp:
So zombie flesh is so flammable that an arm can become an instant torch. And the zombies are attracted to fire. So why not torch the whole lot of them? When the fire dies out, just walk out and across.

Bad episode, so bad on so many levels.
I have now resorted to checking this thread to see where it ends. This way I don't have to waste an hour every week on this train wreck lol. I think I'm probably 3-4 seasons behind now, without an intention to watch another one.
