While the Sharks somehow hold onto 4th place in the Western Conference, they have done so without the superstar point producing talent of Nikita Kucherov. Not only has he already battled through an early season hangover, the 76OV sniper sits 15th in Sharks scoring behind the likes of Andy Greene and Casey Cizikas. Sure his sample size is smaller playing only half the season thus far (13 games) but a man with his talent should have more than 4 points in those games.
Some say he never did find his true form again after losing his favorite shirt. Others say his now fully grown chest hair is slowing him down and has begun consultations with the GM of the Montreal Canadiens Goffie 'Sizzle Chest' Young to learn more about the excessive chest hair phenomenon.
When experts like Eklund were consulted, he says that "Kucherov has taken his beer drinking to the next level and is up all hours of the night boozing it up and playing Fortnite with Patrik Laine. The Fin and a Russian that have become best friends and are currently ranked 2nd and 546th respectively in the Fortnite World Standings."

While known by his peers to be a very patient and understanding GM, MJK seems to have lost all faith that Kucherov will get it going. He continues to bring in top line talent, desperate to find the right fit but nothing seems to work.
Kucherov has been on and off the block only because MJK continues to hold out hope that he will get it going, but his time has run out. Kucherov has been in trade talks with half the league with many different players in the mix.
We expect Kucherov to be traded in the next day or two and it is coming down to the wire on where he will land.
