The Leafs have traded Carter Verhaeghe to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Jack Campbell.
The Leafs traded Campbell last year and have been trying to re-aquire him ever since. We are also sick of spelling Verhaeghe, so this is a win-win, really.
Thanks to Cheese for the deal that appeared dead but sat back up like Michael Myers and rolled through very quickly after that.

The Leafs have increased morale in the room by trading Braden Holtby to the Calgary Flames.
Also heading to Calgary with the aforementioned human piece of trash is Cedric Paquette.
The Leafs give their bottom six a much needed shakeup by acquiring Tyler Motte who should provide an upgrade on the useful Paquette, as well as receiving minor league prospect Jake Wise, who projects at being a generational talent the likes of which the hockey world, nay, the sports world, has ever, e-e-e-evvvver seen!
Oh, and the Leafs also paid a buttload of money to rid Holtby's ghastly shadow from our locker room doorway once and for all.
