Figured I'd post this here. From a Buy & Sell post:
Those seem cheap, possibly too cheap. Most of the eBikes I have seen have been over $3000. Have they started coming down in price? That site doesn't offer any returns, so I'd definitely want to try one before buying.
With my knees I'm going to need some help with the commute.
I dunno about too cheap. Up to this point, we have mainly had the majors put out e-bikes. You can expect to spend for spesh or trek brands. But, keep in mind, the motors, controllers, and battery packs are mass produced in China. So many companies source the same e parts and put them on different branded bikes. IMO, it would be normal for prices to drop as it trickles over.

had a pretty rough crash on the way home on tuesday, slipped on some gravel doing 25~
dont usually wear gloves unless its cold so my palms are pretty rough. wrists are pretty stiff. decent road rash on my shoulder and leg and pretty much everything feels sore
the worst part is honestly that i'm injured and cant ride for the next little while and i JUST BOUGHT FALL RIDING CLOTHES FOR THE MORNING THIS WEEKEND
Ooof, that sucks. I always were gloves for protection. Thoguh I'm a little surprised you hurt them, considering they are made of stone. As for the fall riding clothes, those will be good for a few months, or one day. Really depends...

Took the day off work to get in a ride before the weather turns. worth made a route from Granary Road to Millarville, up towards Bragg and over to Priddis. Lots of hills but the weather couldn't have been better.
Who's still out there getting it done today? Rolled the dice and stayed on the summer bike. We'll see what tomorrows commute looks like, may have to roll the winter bike.

exhausted from parenting duties, at least, that's the excuse I am using today.
I’ve been at home the past three days since our nanny took a vacation to Nashville. I managed to ride my daughter to school, then ride to the zoo with my other daughter, then rode back to school for pickup. I’m now 70km from 3000 on the year!

Well that was a bit of a slog this morning. Winter bike is up and running well. The Bow pathway crew already had the north side cleared from Sunnyside to Nose creek. Nose creek wasn't cleared but only had about 2-3cm of snow with some heavy slush underneath which made for slow going. Pedestrian bridges SUCKED. The Prince's island bridge had not been touched (which is crazy since I believe it is still the most heavily used bridge for foot/bike traffic into the core) and had anywhere from a foot to a foot and a half of snow. Fox hollow bridge over Deerfoot had drifts on the north side of it about 3 feet tall.

North-South between Inglewood and Quarry Park was mostly okay, but some sections along the rail yard, bridges, and oddly Lynwood were ugly. I had to get off and walk in a few parts. Lynwood just has so much foot traffic from people walking dogs and such that I was surprised it hadn't been cleared. By the time I went through nose creek it was cleared from 8th ave to the zoo.
