Sad state of affairs when you learn that maybe you're too old for Video Games. I loaded up the last GTA game and 10 minutes into it when you're in the mission where you have to chase a guy down on a motocycle and shoot him off of the bike while driving, that you're just too slow to do it.

Super late to the game but I purchased a PS4 over the weekend, it came with the Spiderman game. Man is it impressive how far video games have come. Absolutely stoked to get my hands on some other vids. The girlfriend is super unimpressed too lol. Good times!!

Make that 3. Buy rocket league. I'm pretty sure I've put over 1000 hours into that game between PS4 and PC. I'm even considering buying it for switch...

Since I know you're a Jays fan I would highly recommend getting MLB: Road To The Show. Even when I was just a casual fan who only watched games once and a while I loved playing it. One thing it has that I wish the NHL series would add is the ability to import your Franchise or Road To The Show(Be a Pro) save into the new game every year.
The one thing I wish they would add though is the ability to import players into your Franchise. You can edit the fake players into rookies but you cant change their face to have the in game model. It's frustrating knowing someone like Taoscar Hernandez's face is in the game but I have to use a fake face because I started my franchise a few years ago when he wasn't in the game. Same for a guy like Judge.

Fourthed. My most played game ever, so obviously one of my all time favorites. Probably 600-700 hours (or more).
I was always a fan of the classic RPG's, like Ultima, Baldurs Gate or PC. As well as the JPRPG's for the consoles, FF2/3, Ogre Battle, FFT, Chrono Trigger etc..
I always keep an eye out to see if anything resembling that genre is coming up. Pillars was just awesome, love that game so much. First video game in a decade I could play front to back without being bored.
Looks like Square just announced a new Tactics game set in the Final Fantasy world:
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Released in Japan in 2019.

Honestly, the catastrophe that has been Fallout 76's release is much more entertaining than the game itself appears to be.
If any of you bought the collectors edition with the ripoff nylon bag and submitted a ticket to Bethesda requesting to be upgraded to the advertised canvas bag, they managed to make all of your publicly identifying info ... public. Other customers are seeing everybody's submitted tickets. Including addresses, comments, names, and sometimes CC info.
Or, as someone on Reddit put it: "they're so committed to letting the community fix their game they're letting them run support now too".
Looking for some advice here- I usually get my dad a PS game every Christmas because it's basically the only time of year he gets to sit down and play through something. Last few years the games haven't really clicked with him- I think they were the last 2 COD's.
He is into shooters and the last game he played start to finish was Resistance 3 I believe. Any recommendations on a quick, fun campaign that he can finish up over the holidays?
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has now gone free-to-play, and with that change developers Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment have added a new battle royal game mode. The new mode is called Danger Zone and you can enter into a match with up to 18 other players, with the last one standing deemed the victor.
Haven't played it yet, sounds interesting. Anyone who owned the game prior to the conversion to a free model get bumped to premium status.
