I feel the same, and view them a team in decline.

The Kings have scored 12 goals in six games. That is six fewer goals than the Flames in one more game. They are the 28th-ranked offensive team in the NHL—just one position up on the Edmonton Oilers (*snicker*), and they are one of three teams that has yet to score a powerplay goal. Six games and no powerplay goals!

I agree and add Tampa Bay into that hatred league.

It is neat to see teams get out to a good start and then slowly fade as the season goes on. Still, the 3 teams GirlySports posted were supposed suck right away and the opposite has happened. I can see the Canucks falling off quickly. For the Sens, Anderson is playing well in net, without it, the Sens would probably be at the bottom.

Kapanen with 2 goals, Gardiner and Matthews with 2 assists each, and the Leafs have won 5 in row. Yes, Toronto is planning the parade already. The Leafs back up goalie, Garrett Sparks, had a sparkling performance in net making 33 saves including 15 saves in the 2nd period.
The Predators get another win and are now 1st in the western conf. Pekka Rinne looks to be getting off to another great season in net for Nashville as he made 29 saves.
The Habs sure made the Red Wings look like the "dead things."
Touching moment in Ottawa with a tribute to Ray Emery. His ex fiance, Keshia Chante sang both anthems and wore his jersey. Jason Spezza was a good friend of Emery and was quite emotional. The Stars got on the board first with a PPG from Klingberg and that was the only goal to beat Anderson as he was the show and made 37 saves for the win.

Anderson is continuing the good year/bad year rotation he’s had his entire career. Good news for sens fans because he might be one of the only reasons their first rounder isn’t a first overall for Colorado.

I'm still surprised they gave a 35 year old Kovalchuk that three year deal.

Yeah, how long is he actually going to play in LA?
I am thinking after a few games that LA is a bottom-three or -four team in the Division, and don’t see how things will improve much over the coming years. How long before we start seeing the Kings moving their big pieces like Kopitar, Doughty, and Quick?
