I have one more day of work left and then I'm on holidays for 2.5 weeks. Much crap at work the past few weeks. I can't wait to get away from it all!

Though, I'm not so much happy that it starts off with camping with the outlaw... I mean inlaws... no, I'll stick with outlaws. Nonetheless, I'm grabbing a cooler of beer, inflating my raft and going out onto the "lake"/pond and having some solitude time and some fishing. May not even have anything on the end of the fishing line.

Vacation rmmh.

My homemade ginger beer is ready to drink, and is tasting really good on such a hot evening.

Belated, but congrats! There's nothing like finally getting that job, I can relate. Took me two dozen applications before I finally snagged a summer gig in April.

Unrelated, but finally moving back down east will RMMH. Living an entire summer on remote control is making me nauseous. I'm so excited to finally move into a house and have my own space again.

wrrmh - i was able to prank a buddy of mine yesterday - and i got him good!!!

we've know each other over 30 years and back in the day he was the king of pranks and practical jokes... so to 'get' him was awesome! all our friends that were around couldn't stop laughing - neither could he! i'd share what i did but it was centered around an inside joke with this group of friends so it wouldn't really make sense.

another thing that rmmh is i'm making fish tacos for the first time for dinner this evening (i recently tried them for the first time and really liked them... so why not try making my own!?!). and the best part is i don't have to ask "can you leave out the cilantro please?"

$1000 donation thru Canada helps from someone who prefers to remain anonymous. We do transportation with wheel accessible
vehicles (WAV) in the region just outside Calgary. Donor remarked how helpful our staff have been for the family over the past year.

My first thought:"are we talking about MY staff? (Laugh)

After bring in neuro rehab for over a year, it has pretty much wrapped up. One more appointment in two weeks, but I think that's just to fill the gap until the brain clinic takes over my care. My god, did I start to get tired of going toward the end, hard to keep your eye on the prize

it's been a nearly 18 months since a TBI, but feels like YEARS. Still don't have the go-ahead from my physiatrist to return to work. But enough small victories ought to add up to something one of these days

Awesome work!

Did you add spice? Do you enjoy Royal Jamaican? How's your home brew compare?

Canada Goose Holdings Inc. fell 4.7 per cent on a report that it backed off claims of ethical treatment of animals used to make winter clothing following a regulatory review of its marketing. The New York Post earlier reported that the Toronto-based company no longer claimed on its website that it sources coyote fur from animals in overpopulated areas, and had removed a video showing where it gets the down for its parkas.

F Canada Goose. I'm thrilled they're getting beaten for being savage creeps. I hope they go broke.

My formula is just making a plant of water and yeast, and adding 2 parts sugar: 1 part ginger every day for a week, then lemon juice and syrup and bottle for three weeks (venting them weekly so they don't explode).

Mine's not as powerful as the Royal Jamaican, and I haven't experimented much with spice, though it'd be fun to give it a try.

The recipe I use calls for dry ginger, but I use fresh ginger instead.

Over the last 2 months I've lost around 30 lb, so I treated myself tonight to a pizza. It was literally the best thing I've tasted in the longest time I can remember. I love Mio Pizza.

Ruby chocolate RMMH. For my entire life I only knew of three types of chocolate but now there is a 4th and it is amazing. What a time to be alive!

Spending a week out at the lake with my parents and my wife (and puppy!) really makes me happy.

But today was their 39th wedding anniversary and my wife and I took them into a really nice and delicious restaurant in Edmonton to celebrate! Was a lot of fun!

Today I was on Stoney, doing about 118 and a biker passed in the other direction and looked directly at me and tapped the top of his helmet. I had no idea what that meant, but I figured it was something, so the foot came off the gas as I approached the 52nd SE overpass, and sure as s***, there was a cop on the other side backed up the embankment with his radar gun. Got home and googled it, and it indeed means the cops are up ahead.

Learned something new today, plus I didn't get pulled over. Big thanks to buddy on the crotch rocket with the green helmet at about 3:20 this afternoon. Now that it's 4:20, it's time to celebrate.

I was in Calgary this afternoon to see my Endocrinologist. We had a look at an MRI I had earlier to check the size of a Pituitary tumour we been trying to shrink. It's been a 6 year process of taking pills to reduce the size. Today we discovered it was gone!

As an added bonus they wanted to check my weight and I was surprised to find that I had lost 13lbs since our last visit in March.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there.

Disregarding the fact that those jackets are criminally overpriced, Geese are awful, evil creatures that only barely lose out to Trudeau as the worst representatives of Canadians.

Pluck 'em bare!

The jackets aren't overpriced. The company insists on making all of its clothing in two domestic urban factories with obsolete equipment and unionized workers. That's why you pay such an enormous premium.
