question though, what is the purpose of "sidetone"? tried google'ing it and apart from the fact that you can hear yourself so you can adjust the volume of your speech there doesn't seem to be any use for it?

It's for when your having all audio come through The headset it lets you hear yourself. This makes it so your not yelling or talking too quietly to be heard because you cant judge your voice (because the game volume in your headphones is louder then your voice).

if they don't get it, i'm returning my copy. can i return pre-orders? i'll probably also ditch my pre-order of madden and nba 2k for ps4 since no nhl = no ps4 since i wouldn't play anything else other than nhl 15 on ps3 since it'd probably still have eashl

jojo can you try to tap your contacts? i don't even care if we have to keep it secret, i just want to know so i don't end up getting a ps4 and pre-ordering 3 games for it if i end up barely playing it (HUT is frustrating as hell)

i would love if jj could confirm though, would rather not blow $400+ on ps4 and $130+ on games and whatever the ps+ subscription costs if i end up playing eashl/otp a ton on ps3 as i usually do.

I do not believe I will pick up 15 for the PS3, it feels like EA is tricking me by making me buy a previous gen game just to play online with friends. Whats your guys thoughts?

Sorry dude, not buying a PS3 just to give EA more money. I will still get NHL15 on the PS4, but will just play when I'm bored.

Like Diemenz mentioned in the NHL15 thread, thank god for Destiny coming out at the same time.

Who's making the PS4 eashl 17 thread?

Ea will have to blow me away to get my money for a hockey game again. Releasing an incomplete game with modes missing and incomplete to be "patched in later" is a complete joke. Be a GM is even dwarfed to a point it's not even worth playing.
