True, and based on the interviews with him today, he does have a youthful looking face, which is usually an indication that a player hasn't fully physically matured. Getting an extra inch or two taller definitely isn't out of the question.

Dustin from Tustin seems like a steal in round 7 by all accounts.
Is size such a differentiating factor that a hulking goalie in Medicine Hat should be ranked and taken so much higher than a smaller goalie in Everett with better stats?

Probably the best 7th round pick I've seen from the Flames in a while.

Considering Dustin Wolf was three months old when David Moss was drafted we can safely use the term "in a while", no?

I think Z has a ways to go. Wolf was a goalie that should have been picked way earlier than where he was picked. Honestly am shocked that he was still available at #214.

He retired a mere four seasons ago. Put point taken.

That’s a classic old person move though.
“What’s that movie we watched a little while ago? With the Avengers guys?”
“The Avengers? Dad, we watched that three years ago.”
Time is already a flat circle to them.

Earlier in the season he was was a second round pick in most mock drafts. His stats are good, he seems like a good kid and he hasnt done anything bad....why did his stock drop so much?

Wolf is one of 4 American goaltenders named to team USA for the World Junior Summer Showcase running July 26 - Aug 3.
Spencer Knight is a returning member from last year's WJC silver team so I think it is likely he will be the start for USA this year. But Wolf could be in the running to win a backup spot.

How amazing would it be if Wolf became the starter for the world jr.'s I'll bet he at least makes it as the backup and I'm not ruling him out as the starter

I'm a little surprised a stat like wingspan isn't used more often when talking about goalies.
