Clearly she's peaked and will never win another tournament. How sad. Such a promising career.

She ditched her lucky hairband on her right arm for today's match - Also, can't say I'm a fan of the pink dress (or the court colour).

Bianca's toughest opponent is going to be her body, it seems...

It's not a lucky hairband anymore since she lost in Beijing.

Andreescu up 2-0 early, but in major pain. Called a medical time out for an apparent knee injury half-way through the third game.

And at the same time, Raonic loses 6-7, 7-5, 4-6 to Thiem.

Meanwhile, Shapovalov and Fognini are early in the third set, with Denis up a break!

Bianca is trying, after an eight minute medical timeout, but it's pretty obvious she's done. 2-2 now.

Darn I didn't want to hear that, she was having such a good year.
Hopefully not too serious.

She almost broke back (three break points), but Andreescu has no power on her serve at all. My guess is the farthest this match goes is the end of the first set. Her coach was talking to her at the change over and told her not to push it, she basically cried "I don't want to stop!"

As I figured, Bianca retires after dropping the first set. Damn.
we'll see if she tries to play her third match, but honestly, probably best for her to just shut it down.

Good idea. Time to rest, physically and mentally. It's been a whirlwind of a year and adrenaline can only take you so far.

Yeah cant see her playing the 3rd match.
Kenin will take her place.
Not sure round robin works in tennis. I know they want to milk it but double elimination would work better.

That's a nice comeback win for Denis and he gets Zverev as his opponent.
