It wasn't the break, this is how they play at home.

Once again - Another scorer on this team could have helped.

Blah, win the next one in regulation against the Oilers and that will be 4/6 points after the break.

They almost killed it too. But hey if it worked why change lines fresh players are overrated

Brouwer did a good job on the PK, but after 1:25 and only 4 seconds left you put any centre out to try and win the faceoff.

Janko or Stajan should have been gone in for the last faceoff 100%.

Lol by that definition every game is a big game. Big games are against Anaheim and Los Angeles, teams they’ve played well against this year. It sucks that we let go of a point tonight but its hardly anywhere near the failure youre trying to frame it as.

We honestly don’t deserve to make the playoffs. Just not good enough. Top players only show up once every five games and without Smith we are worse off than the Oil.

Mind boggling coaching there in OT. No words.

Flames played OK. Both goalies were very good tonight. Kind of feel good for Johnson after getting run out of town last year despite being a home town boy.

Two bad penalties at the end there. Almost killed them both but really diminished any chance to win.

Backlund and Gulutzan the goats.

Run out of town? The Flames offered him a contract.

You literally have no idea what goes on in that room, but certainly have a strong opinion on who should and shouldn't be wearing a letter for this team.

Sound logic.

Sadly these points are important. With everyone else winning in the western conference this is how seasons are lost when we fall a point or 2 short at the end of the season. I don't question their effort I just don't think we're very good.

Getting tired of watching Monahan handle the puck like a grenade. Not sure where the guy who started the season went, but his poor puck handling gets a lot less forgivable when he isn't finishing.

Pretty weak game by Jankowski as well, too many turnovers and as a result the 3rd line didn't generate much. Looked like Bennett was trying but there was nothing there.

Also never seen the officials get in the way so much in one game. Felt like they created about half of the chances the Sabres got, including the first goal.

If the game against LA goes anything like the last 2 I'd get the line blender out early to try to wake the team up.

Will anyone of the regulars on the post game radio show have the balls to ask the coach about his piss poor decision to have Brouwer lose all 3 Faceoffs on the penalty kill???

Honest question, would we be a top 5 lottery team without Smith this season?
(Minus the actual first round pick)
