To avoid being caught unaware by these random schedule oddities, I make it a point every year to download the team schedule directly into my calendar. It can be done easily from the team website. Just a tip.

Markstrom was drafted 8 years after CBJ joined the league, so it's not like they weren't around or something.

Anyway... no biggie, I just fixate on anomalies like this lol.
