I’ve been on of the biggest Mangiapane supporters going back to 18-19.
But I’d think about sitting him for a game at this point. He’s just not playing with enough effort or energy.

I had to laugh at that opinion as if it were fact statement too.
Every metric for Mangiapane for the last few years pegs him as an elite 2 way winger who can finish well. He's having an awful year so far, no doubt.
Perhaps a benching is in order to make him realize what he needs to do again, but who knows. Darryl usually pushes the right buttons. He'll get him on track at some point.

That Huberdeau shootout goal was pretty damn slick. Would like to see more of that in the game for sure. Dude can shoot but he does have a tendency to try and make things too pretty sometimes. Same with Andersson. Just rifle it and get traffic.
