It took about 40 games for Sutter to teach him up last year… but second half of last year and start of this season he’s been great.

Good game! Still think we need to move mangi around a bit to get him going. I like the idea of coleman-kadri-dube...

Zaddy is excellent. Really glad we signed him.

Weird.
I know Loubo is overly complimentary to opposing teams, but I thought the Flames were the better team for most of the game. There were only 3-4 times through 60 that I really clenched my cheeks.

Yes, he's very intriguing. This could be revisionist history, but I remember being very intrigued by him during the 2018 Flames-Avs series. I can't think of many defenceman like him.

three or four times since the first empty netter he's basically said 'start the car and get out of there before they take the 2 points back'

Huge win in tonight’s win Coleman just tied Huberdeau with 9pts each. Markstrom was solid, Dube finally got one past the post, and Gilbert beat some nobody. All in all a nice game, and we just passed EDM in the standings.

Would have felt nicer if Philadelphia had their whole team, but these are the games they have to win regardless.

If I use a tough schedule to defend them, they better win these games to justify the argument.

Not sure what game he was watching. Flyers had a few moments of pressure and chances but the Flames were by far the better team. If not for that Mangiapane giveaway it wouldn't have been nearly as close at the end.

For how bad Philly is (they’re real bad), there was definitely too much given up after the 2nd philly goal. Before then it was going solidly well.

Personally pretty disappointed the Flames could only put up 3 goals on these guys, they had more good scoring chances tonight than most nights and still only scored 2, and philly scored on themselves once.

But nothing to complain about, everyone was pretty solid. Markstrom was really good. Lucic was behind the play at the start but had some good shifts in the 3rd. Rooney was solid to good. Huberdeau with maybe his most consistently strong game.

PP still needs to get better too.

Huberdeau is finally coming around. He’s been pretty good since coming back from injury. I still think there’s another gear there but I’m okay being patient with him.

Eventually we’ll end up with Huberdeau - Lindholm where both players are going and it will be glorious.
