Bret was so good with the little things.

Love love love that style. Forgot how encapsulating matches can be without using big move/flippy ####. Good build-up storytelling, pacing with the crowd, and slug-it-out survival without getting fancy was why some of those old matches were so magical. Plus Bret and DiBiase were both professionals all day.

When you look at Bret and Ted, they were proto matches of each other. They were both excellent technically, they understood chain wrestling and that sometimes its all about how you sell the move rather then the big move.

It was pretty rare that Bret left his feet or went to the top rope.

I also think his 5 moves of doom were his finisher and the Sharpshooter was just the cherry on top.

Also, Dibiase's theme - what an absolute banger, it never gets old. As a kid, it had evil written all over it too.

The Elite doing the bite tonight, and also the failed buckshot lariat was stupid IMO.

Let that go, doing that just proves Punk was partially right when he said he works with children.

I think most people who aren't elite super fans were quite aware of the fact that Punk was 100% accurate in that assessment. He forgot that he himself was also a child, but the part he did say was true.

They like to boo him hard which means he's working as a heel. Getting no reaction at all would be bad.

The last few mins of the mens war games was incredible story telling

Sami and Jay's hug got an incredible pop

Sami may be the biggest babyface in wrestling right now

Looks like last nights Survivor series set records as the highest grossing Survivor series of all time, and most viewed survivor series of all time.

I consider myself a pretty big Elite fan and even I thought it was childish, cheap heat garbage.

Oh, there are going to be some Elite fans who go "Wait, why though?" but social media is rife with fans acting like it was great.

Meltzer says regal only has a 1 year deal with AEW and a lot of people expect him to go back to Hunter when it's done

He's going to get NXT handed to him and Shawn will help take over one of the main roster shows.

He later corrected himself and said it was a 3-year deal.

Man I feel like if they have Bloodline betray and just destroy Sami...but then have him come back and be the one to beat Roman...might get the loudest pop of all time.

Has anyone watched the 3 part Teddy Hart documentary that just came out. I've followed his crazy story and seen various videos on him for quite some time, but wow was that something to watch.
