That new Alchemist and Roc Marciano album "The Elephant Man's Bones" just dropped yesterday. I gave it a quick listen today on the way to work and was liking what I was hearing. Some good features on there with Action Bronson and Boldy James.

I gotta check that Game album out. Everyone who mentions it keeps saying good things.

Have only listened to a couple songs off the DJ Khaled album, but I like them so far.

Not sure if there’s a big crowd for it here but the new Open Mike Eagle album is fan frikkin tastic

If that’s not for you there’s a Freddie Gibbs album that’s probably good if that’s your type of thing.

RIP Takeoff . I know most of the people on this site and who regularly post in this thread aren’t into trap music. But Migos had an undeniable impact when they first came into the scene

It's sad he got murdered because his uncle was being an idiot, but they did start an awful trend of mumble rap.

Naw Migos was/is ####ing amazing.

My life's biggest musical regret is when Migos didn't make it to that ####ty summer festival in 2018(?) and instead I stood around without an act for 90m to watch Lauryn Hill phone it in. Though she did show up on time so there is that.

So Drake and 21 Savage’s duo album just dropped. I enjoyed it more than a good chunk of his most recent projects but that’s honestly a low bar to climb

Didn't realize how much rap music feeds into make America great again music. Listened to a ton of Tom Macdonald music tonight and a ton of reaction videos of his music.

White boy got a ton of African Americans being all ' Ya Tom's points are right. He gets it "
While all his songs talk about anti abortions and #### blacks cause their minorities so why listen to them when the majority is white." Literally in the song people so stupid there's a line that says "Focus on minorities, ignoring all the masses" and people like no Shaq life saying he right. Meanwhile Tom's doing music called white trash featuring mad child a hells angel member spitting the same principles .
Maga literally got black people saying we should be with white supremacy.

Wild.
I get why the black community likes it its rap, they hitting on their problems but it's also a white guy complaining bout them they seem to miss.

I'm just so confused as hell a guy like No Shaq life can say" I'm with Tom and I support Tom " It's like dude he's literally about everything your against but It's cuz he makes a solid instrumental and points out some similar problems your ok with him? Like Shaq he's constantly calling out your community for all of whites issues they face.
Like what?

Edit
Tom macdonald also has a line in Fake woke " I think Black Lives Matter was the stupidest name
When the system's screwing everyone exactly the same" that's such a ####8ng fake white guy to say IMO. the next line in that song is literally "We got so divided, it's black and white and political
Republicans are bigots, libtards if you're liberal
There's riots in our streets, and it's just getting worse
Y'all screaming, "Defund the police", y'all are genius for sure
They're underfunded already, they're way too busy to work. They knew that racism was hot if they designed it to sell
We buy up every single box and divide us ourselves.

Wtf? How are these black guys ok with this.

MAGA rap is only a small sub gene of Hip Hop that mostly conservatives listen to. Also Shaq is just one dude. He doesn’t speak for the entire black community. I and several other black people do not like Tom McDonald’s music

I get Shaqs just one dude and he dosen't represent a whole community but late nights I tend to dive down the rabbit hole on youtube with reaction videos for rap songs and its way more than just him that thinks Tom's awesome. It's a majority for sure.

Tom's a top 100 artist continually and has had some number 1 albums and songs . It's really no surprise a large part of any community supports him despite a few majour flaws he has . It's really no different how large parts of Cuban communities voted trump

Either example just just blows my mind. Imean I guess it's because it's the thought no ones perfect and the majority either of those 2 people say fit in the political sphere of conservativsim so they over look the big flaw/s

I’ve never heard of whoever this clown is before right now but I’m not sure why some clear troll culture vulture deserves the time of day.

This is when we should be putting together best of the year lists not paying lip service to someone with less relevance than riff raff or lil Xanax. Lol FOH

And Tom's from Edmonton, lol. I wouldn't spend time on all of those click-bait rappers out there using shock topics for clicks

Little Simz announced a new album coming out this week, making all year-end best-of lists irrelevant.

Cost of Living is phenomenal; good list.

Clouds is still in my top 3 Turntablism albums of the 10s.
