If after getting destroyed by the Oilers who then got destroyed by the Avs and then losing two of our three best forwards wasn’t enough to convince them we should look towards the future they are truly delusional.
Even if you call it a wash with the players coming in for the ones going out, we still were nowhere close to being good enough when compared to the likes of Colorado, Vegas and even Edmonton.
I’m sure things will get better to a certain extent but this team just isn’t at the same level as the top teams in the West, and I don’t think that should come as much of a surprise.
