Musk wants to die with the most money possible in his bank account...he wants Trump to win to help him with that cause but doesn't want to just give away money
What is the quickest way to get Musk to Mars? Whatever that is, we should do that. And I don't mean safest, or a round trip or anything. Just GetMuskToMars. Whatever it takes.
Musk’s claim to be donating 45 mil a month pure BS.
Who could’ve seen this coming?
I don’t think that’s what the article says. He debies donating it to Trump, he doesn’t say he didn’t donate to the super pac he created that supports Trump it to his superpac not to trump
Quote:
Musk did note that he created a super PAC, called the America PAC, to help support Trump. A super PAC is a group that can raise unlimited amounts of money for a campaign’s independent expenditures—such as for ads, or for day-to-day operations— but doesn’t donate directly to the campaign.
He also added that one of the principles the PAC aligned with was “freedom,” particularly freedom from “as much government intervention as possible.” The hand of government gets heavier every year, and if we don’t roll back some restrictions and regulations, eventually, “everything will be illegal,” Musk said.
When Peterson pressed Musk for why he was switching to Trump, after long voting Democratic, Musk said that Democrats had become the party of censorship.
He also criticized a lawsuit that the Justice Department—under President Joe Biden’s administration— launched against his company SpaceX, last year, alleging that Musk discouraged refugees and asylum seekers from applying to work at the aerospace company. A court order later blocked the U.S. from pursuing the lawsuit.
So he supports, Trump, wants deregulation, and donates to his super pac but not directly to the campaign.

Would be embarrassed to drive one of his cars or "trucks"
What kind of rube does it take to follow Musk's vote?
The big bad government is too hard on Musk by regulating his companies? Woohoo! Less taxes for Musk! (Wonder where they'll make that up?)
Laying off 80% of his staff? What a genius! He's such a good businessman! (Every company should do this, starting with mine, we'd be so much more profitable)
Government censorship?! Can't have that, I want Musk to be solely in charge of what we see, he cares so much about the middle class! (see above)
God I hate that guy and the dumb ####ers that think he's some sort of a messiah.

Australian program Four Corners with a very good 2 part series called Retribution that does a good job of stripping the absurdity and comedy of Trump away and showing through a series of interviews and direct quotes why he is a direct and real threat to American democracy.

I couldn't help watching Bryson/Trump trying to break 50 from the reds yesterday. I didn't want to, but couldn't stop myself.
On one hand, it kind of humanizes Trump a bit. No political bluster. But on the other hand, it humanizes him as the mildly annoying old guy you get paired up with at the country club. Contrasting himself to a young, vital Bryson and without the orange makeup and favorable lighting, he just looks and acts so old.
As for his golf game, his very weird putting stroke is surprisingly effective. He seems to be able to get it down the fairway 200ish, and is a mixed bag of chunks and good shots to the green.
He's a decent enough old guy golfer, but nowhere near the 2.5 handicap he currently has and quite laughable that he would be within 20 strokes of winning the men's club championships he claims.
I just assumed that he’s not winning “the” championship but maybe won his tier. That’s not the same thing. Don’t get me wrong; if I won my tier, I’d be thrilled! But I also wouldn’t be saying I was the club champion.
His distance control with that putting stroke is quite amazing. Most of his puts were within two feet, he just never gets the line right because of that wonky stroke. He ain't no 2.5, we already knew that, but he's not awful.

They seriously have nothing on her, for now anyway. I've seen them trying to make her step-daughter out to be some kind of freak cause of how Kamala raised her...and she basically looks like a normal mid-20's kid? But of course a huge part of their strategy up until a week ago was to use Hunter Biden non-stop. No? "Oooh, Kamala did a terrible job raising her", as if Trump's coked up children are the model of great child rearing.
Shows again how staggeringly unprepared they were for anything but a Biden run. They didn't even get the chance to fully lean into Hunter before Joe dropped out. Gonna be fun to see how they can somehow tie Hunter to Harris.
