Tim Hecker announced a companion album to last year's Konoyo today, to be released in May. I thought the Japanese orchestral influences were a great fit for his style so I'm pretty psyched to see additional material from those sessions being released
[QUOTE=troutman;6982022]Lindsey Buckingham’s wife posted on Facebook that he had emergency open heart surgery last week. Getting stronger but there may be vocal damage.
Sad news. The guy is an amazing and underrated songwriter, singer and guitar player.
I'm gonna put this here even though the songs aren't from 2019 the album was just released.
Live at Massey Hall (Vol.1)
Constantines, Japandroids, Hayden, Emily Haines are of course awesome but a lot of groups on here I had never heard of (Dan Mangan + Blacksmith, Andy Shauf, Coeur de Pirate) that I'm excited to look into.
Oops I just saw this album was released in 2018 by Arts & Crafts but just showed up as a new release for me in Spotify. Oh well!

Reason: Not 2019 release
I was recently in Los Angeles and Luke was playing in downtown while I was there. I didn't make it to the show though as I had my family with me. No doubt he played this song. New album in April.
The frighteningly productive Guided By Voices released their new album ‘Zeppelin Over China’ at the start of the month, and they’re already sharing plans to release another.
‘Warp And Woof’ is 24(!) tracks long, and will come out on 26th April via Rockathon Records. Along with the album announcement, the band are sharing short’n’sweet first song ‘Angelic Weirdness’.
