Too bad we didn't trade superstar Sam Bennett to Buffalo! We could have seen the dynamic duo in action there instead.

Well there hasn't been a deal.
There likely will be at some point.
That can happen by the buyers upping their bids, or the seller reducing their offer price.
Neither ship has sailed so I honestly don't get the point of your post.

yeah, just because Buffalo hasn't agreed to that price yet, doesn't mean they won't
I think the post in question is a lot closer to the eventual price than some of the crazy-expensive proposals that have been thrown out

Sources on a potential ask from Calgary have been next to non-existent. Elliott Friedman has never mentioned a name, Seravelli hasn't, NHLrumorsdaily has nothing on Calgary, Dreger, Lebrun nobody.
BUT Dean Molberg - @Fan960Boomer did have a tweet earlier in the summer where he floated a potential ask from Buffalo. He claimed it was just him speculating but he has broken news in the past and he does seem to have a line to Tre or people in Flames org. https://twitter.com/user/status/1420576761994088452
I don't really know SabresBuzz. Robin Lehner follows him but just a random guy otherwise to my knowledge.

I still believe if he gets his head on straight he can be an NHL goalie, the jury is still out on that. I am pretty sure the jury returned on your terrible takes about Bennett and Eichel though.

Well, sure. So, all that tells us is that a deal hasn't been done yet. If Buffalo wants a deal done, they are clearly going to need to drop their ask.

Hahahaha. Parsons isn't even an AHL goaltender, with or without his head right. He's barely been an ECHL goaltender, and he's been surpassed by a number of prospects in the Flames' system. He'll be lucky to play another game of pro at the rate he's going. Maybe the SPHL is an option. We will see on my takes on Bennett and Eichel. I like my odds when stacked against Tyler Parsons being an NHL goaltender.

We don't need to see on your takes about Bennett and Eichel, they have already been proven wrong. This is like trying to argue with a flat Earther.

Or just as clearly, one of the teams wanting him need to increase their offer.

Marek says Drury wants a top prospect for Kravtsov
teams are calling about Barrett Hayton. Coyotes not looking to trade him.
Friedman says in the next 1 or 2 weeks, Eichel will file a formal grievance to try move things along if situation is not resolved

Also, Marek suggesting that Seattle may raise a banner for their 1917 cup, when the Habs come to town
I think that would be awesome!

I despise Marek so much. All about him. So smarmy on tv.

For what, that he had a tantrum and isn't getting his way? Buffalo has honored every bit of his contract and now because he decides he wants to go somewhere else they are just supposed to let him go?

I'm perfectly okay if the Flames moved Pelletier for Kravtsov.

Yeah that’s what the pleadings will say.
The grievance will say nothing about a trade.

No, but Buffalo is actively stopping him from getting a surgery he, his agent, his doctors, etc. all believe will provide a better long term quality of life (not to mention the obvious impact on his short term playing career).
Not sure what legal options they have, but if his argument is that the fusion surgery is more likely to require multiple additional fusions throughout the rest of his life, then I can certainly see the argument.

Then his problem is with the NHLPA for giving the medical right to the teams. He had a right to get a second opinion and apparently the board of doctors for the league disagree, or more likely support the proven surgery recommended.

I’m sure Eichel and his team are more familiar with the situation and what he can/can’t do and what he has/hasn’t done or been able to do.
