Started getting this today. Not sure what it’s about but I’m getting it at the moment on my phone. Had to access from a google search then a roundabout way.

I know Bingo is working with a company to change some stuff and it did involve changing some DNS settings. They said it shouldn't impact anything but I guess some people were seeing things they shouldn't.

I'll let them know.

For anyone seeing the placeholder page on a PC if you could open a command or powershell prompt and do:

ping forum.calgarypuck.com

And tell me what the IP is that could be helpful. I was getting 170.249.213.202 which is the IP of the actual server.

Same thing I was getting. I freaked out thinking I'd been the victim of some DNS exploit.

I just saw the same thing as Fuzz on one iphone (through Virgin) but can access as usual through another iphone (through Bell), both connected to the same Wifi. I assumed different DNS server, but the setting show the same ones configured. Ping on the virgin cell also showed same IP as what Fuzz got.

Just restarted the virgin cell and all is back to normal. Must have been a stale DNS cache.

Yeah looks like DNS cache currently, but they'll probably try doing the change again today so I guess we'll see what happens.

Stop playing about with the internets! They're a limited series of tubes but we depend upon them desperately!

Leave the Internet alone!
