TODAY'S Keith BLOG.......

Are you using pleated filters??? Guess what ?? You have successfully added 25-30% to your utility bill without knowing it.
3M filters are the biggest culprit...you pay more at the store....take it home and put it into your furnace an pay again with higher gas and electrical bills.

Thicker filters mean it now takes 25-30% longer to heat your house.

Modern day media and the packaging tell you that its a better filter but they aren't.

Furnaces work harder and components fail costing you hundreds of dollars in repairs that could have been avoided. Do yourself a favor and use the cheap filters (fiberglass) and change them monthly. All filters regardless of style require MONTHLY maintenance.

Thanks for the great job in cleaning our furnace and ducts Keith! Thanks for pointing out some serious problems with our furnace which allowed us to get them fixed. It's nice having a warm house and a quiet furnace.
