I agree with all of this. They definitely had that frosh week/party band reputation, especially with the University/College crowd. But their songwriting was top notch, and their material had a lot more depth than people realize.
Faithlift is hands down my favorite record of theirs. It's just great from top to bottom. All killer, no filler.
2nd favorite is probably Two Headed, which might be their most underrated album. So many great tunes on that disc: Wishing Line, Tell Me What I Think, Scaffolding, Pretend is Fun, Unplugged, Can't Accept the Saint... all so good.
