Frankie McQueen seems to be less good since they changed drummers IMO.

What happened to Craig Norris ?

Braids, Montreal now? Will post best song I have heard this year by a Calgary band when I can track it down.

No change in dummer as far as I know. They have swapped their bassist and guitarist the last couple years though. Lead vocalist/guitarist and drummer are the two original members left.

I'm a Truck is an awesome song, but I always like when they did "Dancing Cop" or whatever song it was at live shows.

Candelora has easily become my favourite local Calgary band. Happened to see these guys play in LA at a bar called Whiskeyagogo when I was there on vacation in May. They killed it and then I found out they were Calgarian! I met the entire band and kind of hung out with them that evening. They were all really nice and down to earth.

I went to see them play at Republik just this previous Saturday too and they did not disappoint! They debuted some new material which they are pressing for a demo I believe.

My girl she loves me good,
I think she always will too.
But in southern Alberta, southern Alberta,

Anyone remember the local band Zuckerbaby? I remember in junior high there was an article in the paper stating they would be shooting a music video at some high school in Calgary and were asking people to show up to be part of the crowd for it.

I was so bummed I couldn't go because it was during school hours, and back then they had a music video on muchmusic already, so it was a pretty big deal for us youngsters.
