By 'fix' do you mean 'make dissapear' and by the 'problems' do you mean 'Lovren, mignolet, and karius'?

Dortmund lose again, this time at home against basement dweller Werder Bremen. That's it for Peter Bosz for sure ... should have been fired a while ago honestly.

Yes. More or less.

On one hand its impressive where Liverpool find themselves considering they've got a killer attack, a usually okay midfield and just a complete tire-fire of defence and goaltending.

On the other hand, that tire-fire has been there a while and is a surprise to nobody, it should have been resolved.

Mignolet probably drives me more nuts than anyone. He never commands his box, he takes waaaay too much time on the ball, he screws up easy passes and he makes ridiculous howlers and then he puts in a world-class shift and makes a bunch of saves he has no right to.

How about you save the easy ones Simon?

holy cow. They've replaced him with Austrian coach Peter Stöger ... who led FC Köln to the EL last season, but was fired a week ago after being dead last in the Bundesliga with 3 points in 14 games. This is going to be interesting.

great scenes in the BL match between Köln and Freiburg. They couldn't find the penalty spot because of all the snow

Hmm Juventus vs Tottenham

My two favourite teams...honestly might have to make a trip to Wembley for that.

Poor Tottenham and PSG though. Just the worst possible draws for each of them.

How about that City draw? Maybe eventually they'll have to play someone good.

I think that Spurs will be alright actually. They should have Alderweireld back by that point and I think they can match up reasonably against Juventus with a full squad. It's a couple months away, so a lot can change in that time.

Yeah I'm in for Spurs/Juventus. Too bad Torino is frigid as balls in February.

I was in Turin for the WC Qualifier between Spain/Italy last year too, that is a great stadium but the city isn't amazing outside of that.

It wouldn't be cheap but a great soccer trip could be in the works here though.

March 6: Madrid vs PSG (Paris)
March 7: Tottenham vs Juventus (London)
March 10: United vs Liverpool (Manchester)
March 14: Chelsea vs Barcelona (Barcelona)

You could conceivably watch 8 of the best teams in Europe over a 10 day span.

Haha while I'll be in Thailand until March 5th and somehow I don't think work will be all that keen on giving me another week off on top of that.

I'm happy that we didn't somehow draw Bayern again...

I think this Man City team is the best I've ever seen.
