Im an avowed Buckeye hater. HATER. No question in my mind however that they deserve to be in over Bama....and that's admitting that Bama could still be the best team in the country. They just get a different set of standards though.

Buckeyes had one good win and it was a miracle. Bama beat several tough teams, including FSU when they had a QB. If Seminoles QB doesn't go down late in the 4th, who knows how good they'd have been.

Buckeyes had two losses including an embarrassing loss to a mediocre team. Bama lost to a top 10 team. I don't see how the regular season means less since the team with the better regular season made it through.

Winning a conference doesn't mean a whole ton if the road to get there wasn't very difficult.

Bama or Ohio State is a toss up. It took away none of the drama and isn't any sort of an indication that an undeserving team got in.

I have no problem with Alabama getting in over Ohio State. Having one loss is better than having two.

Ideally the best playoff format would be 6 teams. This would allow for the 5 major conference champions plus one wild card.

The SEC was not some juggernaut as it has been in some years past. Getting into what ifs and could of beens also just weakens any argument. Every decent team in the country can do that.

Really annoying that most of the bowl games are not on TV, I'm missing out on by football fix. Major networks are carrying very few of the games and only a few are getting picked up on TSN but not on their main feed so I don't have access to those games either.
