Damn... I thought I had overplayed the classic U2 stuff years ago, but this from last night's Seattle show gives chills. Anyone make it to the Vancouver show? Had hoped they were going to walk out and start these shows with Streets like the original Joshua Tree tour, but cool either way-

My friends went to the Vancouver show and the lines were so stupid they missed Mumford and Sons. Crazy.

I was at the show in Vancouver. Started off with Sunday Bloody Sunday and then a few others before playing the Joshua Tree in full. Was a pretty decent concert but they ended with two slow-ish songs including finishing up with a brand new song so a lot of people were sitting down at the end and quite a few were already walking out. Disappointing ending and just a weird vibe to end the evening with. I see they ended with I Will Follow in Seattle, I guess they learned something from Vancouver. I also see Eddie Vedder came out for one song last night. Nice.

Mumford and Sons sounded fantastic, I was really impressed with them. No screwing around with the songs, just belted them out. Would definitely see them again if I get the chance.

I think there was an issue with the system checking tickets or something for those on the floor. Was wondering why it was fairly empty on the floor for Mumford but I guess it was backed up for a long ways outside. I had seats so no issue for me, but if I was in line for hours only to miss the opening act I'd be really ticked off. U2 was about 30 minutes or so late getting to the stage but I heard that was on purpose to let everyone get in.

It's neat and all to be at the first show of a tour like that, but seems like they used Vancouver to work out the kinks, next time I see them I hope its further along in the tour to see them at their best. It was good, but could have been better.

good summary was there too and agree on all counts, I was also in my seats in time for Mumford and Sons who did a great job

the first 5 songs- Sunday plus New Years Day, Pride, MLK and A sort of homecoming were a great start and most of the Joshua Tree worked really well (with fantastic visuals) , the 'encore set ' started to slip and it seems the bugs will continue to get worked out

They took MLK out in place of Bad in Seattle which I would have liked. I understand them playing a new song and mixing it up compared to past tours, but Miss Sarajevo for me is a huge letdown. Just not a fan of that song at all, really sucked the air out of the crowd. It's going to be interesting to see what they do with the setlists tonight and beyond.

Was at Seattle and it was literally the best show I've ever seen.
When the movie backdrop came on the entire crowd gasped.

Opening with SBS and playing the pre-JT stuff on the B stage without any backdrop was brilliant. Loved hearing JT in it's entirety and then a large encore of my favourite songs.

It's was heavy on the politics and that's okay. I was weeping during Ultraviolet and Miss Sarajevo. Still can't believe the Trump video before Exit was real!

The Oils are one of my favourite bands and are a great live act.
As a matter of interest, what makes the BMO centre such a bad concert venue?
I've been there for a few parties/events but never a concert.
Thanks.

Huge square room designed with no thought given to acoustics- Never properly staffed. Low ceiling. Any show I've seen here has been bad sound and terrible line ups. Corral would be preferable
