I think the thing that bothers me the most about this is Sutherland and Chabot hiding behind "it's a private matter". It certainly doesn't seem private at this point. You just made a motion, and not a kind-hearted one, in a public place that was also recorded on camera. You're a politician, and what you do in public is a reflection of how you represent the people who voted you in.

By doing things like that in public, their little backroom spats are coming into the public eye, and they should be more willing to come forward with what kind of dysfunction they're taking part in.

I'm surprised Ward hasn't blocked me on twitter yet. Seems to block everyone else.

Fun fact: Ward is running unopposed, and he only won by 86 votes last time.

Anyone want to get into politics? Now's your chance.

I wouldn't be very popular in my District since I supported the sale of private land by a private owner to another private owner.

Also people hate me generally.

The horrors!
The last paragraph unless she is willing to specificly identity incidents where she is targeted for her gender is uncalled for. It is intended to lead the listener to belief that Sutherland is targeting her for being a women without any information to support the assertion.

It's kind of like the Nenshi/Rempell fight. It was Nenshi being a jerk not Nenshi being a jerk to a women.

What is this referring to?

I went to a performance that invited him to speak before/after. Ward loves Ward, that's for sure. The guy was insufferable.

It's being replaced with real estate development. A lot of residents aren't happy, although they should have known that the golf course wasn't there's to decide what to do with...

It's gone, there's a huge crater there now. Our alderman Jim Stevenson is retiring now, maybe he was an investor there

Shenanigans. There is certainly enough to support the amount of housing they will be adding.

Also, now as a result of this episode, by no fault of her own, is being harassed online, including from sock accounts on Facebook.
