Better than just a pistol I guess but not a hell of a lot.
I made it to the final 2 without firing a shot once.

I usually try to jump from the plane near the end of the ride and drop near the farthest set of apartments. One apartment building will probably yield 2-3 guns and and level 2 vest/helm. By the time I get done looting and stocked up, usually about 40 people are dead.

They really added a lot more variety to the circle locations. I'm spending way more time outdoors now; far more than before. Still holding down a 20% top 10 rate, but it's getting harder to push into the top 30 in general now. That third circle almost always involves so much movement

Nice!^^ I finally won a few rounds in Solo, got a Duo win on Weds and racked up 2 more Squad wins over the weekend.

Last night's patch is excellent. Scoping and smoothness is waaay better. Haven't grabbed the new Sniper Rifle yet, but I did get murdered by it.

Man this game does have some LOL moments. Just happened to be in the right spot when a supply crate basically fell on top of me. Down to the last 20 peeps so the circle is getting small. Lots of gunfire in the immediate area but decide ###### it, I'm gonna jump on that crate. Find the big machine gun (was hoping for a solid rifle as I was on a ridge, would have been perfect) but grabbed it anyways and put a red dot scope on it. Behind me a car comes ripping in. Driver gets out and was immediately killed. Guy comes running out from behind cover to loot him. I decided I don't want to die without at least trying this machine gun so I open up on him. Hit him a few times before he disappears behind some bushes. Bit disappointed I didn't kill him but moments later I get a kill confirmation. There were cliffs on the other side of the bushes and in his haste to get away from me, he fell to his death

Predictably, the racket my machine gun made drew plenty of attention and was killed shortly after but totally worth it knowing some dood ran though bushes and over a cliff trying to escape my lead storm.

A wise man once said "If you find an UMP with a Suppressor in the first building you loot, it's destiny"

Spoiler!

Figuring the guns out can take awhile, but honestly sneaking up on people and murdering them nets you more kills than 1v1 firefights. Just gotta learn how to sneak up rather than be snuck up upon!

Also I hear the kids on the new Asian servers are terrible and the lag is pretty minimal so you could try that out too.

Is it just me or are the foot steps quieter now when sneaking around buildings? Didn't feel like I was tap dancing in wooden shows last time I played.

This must be the cheapest of wins yet. Fired one shot the whole round.

Got my second chicken dinner last night with a buddy in duals. He made 6 kills in the early stages of the match and I had none until close to the end. We were driving around in a boat and stumbled upon an air drop. I hop out and snag an LMG 249 and a level 3 mil vest. I proceed to cut down 6 people with the LMG. That thing is awesome!

I've got some free time this morning and no games I'm currently playing so decided to buy this

Second game I made it to #7, purely by luck since I saw nobody until the end of the game. Hopefully I can get my first kill soon, I feel like I'm pretty bad

Been really fortunate. My primary gaming group at the moment has 2 guys rated in the Top 1000 in Squads so I've been hashing out a lot of Squad wins lately.

At least I feel like I help a bit with tags and callouts, but sometimes they get like 10-12 kills and I'm like "I GOT 4 GUYS GUYS!" stumbling behind them.

Last 2 wins I've got the final kill too, which is satisfying.
