Default LF: GoPro or other Small Video Camera

Hey,

Looking for a small video camera that takes decent quality video/audio.

Before I buy a GoPro Hero Session for $210 I thought I'd see what CP has to offer.

These fit the bill perfectly:

Surprisingly good video for the price. People use these on racing quadcopters as they can take a bit of a beating to boot. Runcam makes a similar camera, probably based off the same design.

I bought the one in the above link and can have been impressed with it. Only downside to consider is I don't think they don't have quite as many mounting options as a gopro and I don't think there are any waterproof cases for them.

All that being said, the GoPro sessions look amazing, I would hesitate to buy one. Especially with that variety of mounting options for them.

How's the sound? I'm going to be using it to film my standup sets.

Should be just fine for that. I haven't really experimented with the sound quality as I use mine on quadcopters so all I usually hear is the motors but I don't think you can go wrong for $70ish.
